Eligibility
To apply for the TDP, you must:

• Hold no private insurance OR hold private insurance that does not cover 100% of costs
• Be registered with OHIP and have a valid Ontario Health Card
• Not be eligible for drug coverage under another ODB program

Deductibles
Rates are determined on the year from August 1 to July 31, and paid in four installments over the course of the year. Deductibles are set based on net income and household size.

Special Coverage
Drugs not listed in the Formulary may be covered for TDP recipients on a case-by-case basis. Applications go to the Individual Clinical Review mechanism.
