The Prize
IDEAS is giving away two (2) tickets to an Olympic hockey game in Vancouver, BC as the prize in a Twitter contest to raise awareness of intestinal diseases. Hockey is one of the most sought-after tickets to the games and you could be walking into that venue to catch live, in-person hockey action, with a friend, absolutely free!

Here’s how the contest works:

Entries must be received on Thursday, February 4, 2010 between 12:01am and 11:59pm PST. To enter, please follow these steps:

1. Follow IDEAS on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/weneedideas

2. On Thursday, February 4, 2010 between 12:01am and 11:59 pm PST, tweet the following from your own Twitter account:

3. Watch your Twitter account on Monday, February 8, 2010 to find out if you’ve won. The winner will be announced before noon PST.

Contest information
This is a free, Twitter-only giveaway contest. These Olympic hockey tickets were donated to IDEAS and are being given away, there is no contest entry fee.

The winner will be notified via Twitter from @weneedIDEAS via an @reply tweet and a direct message.

Contest rules
Only one entry per contestant will be entered into the random draw. All valid entries will be assigned a sequential number and a winning number will be selected using http://www.random.org. Unfortunately, only British Columbia residents are eligible to win.

If a winner is unable to claim their prize, numbers will be selected randomly until an eligible winner is found. IDEAS is the sole judge of the contest winner.

Poker fundraising event

On Sunday March 21, 2010, IDEAS will host an afternoon poker tournament at the Terminal City Club. Participants will have the opportunity to test their poker skills and win prizes while raising funds for IDEAS programs.

CCFC Unveils New IBD site

The CCFC has launched a new website aimed at youth affected by IBD. Gutsy Generation offers resources, interactive features and “Gut of the Month” profiles.

This is a great new resource for youth with IBD, and will help raise the profile of IBD across Canada.

Terminal City Club Poker Tournament to Support IDEAS

On July 25, 2008, the Terminal City Club will host a Texas Hold ‘em poker tournament, with all proceeds going to IDEAS.

We are very excited about this event, and hope to see many of you there!

CHILD receives $12million from BC government

On Monday, May 12, 2008, CH.I.L.D. announced that they will receive $12 million in funding from the BC government. This funding will be dedicated to CH.I.L.D.’s efforts to find a cure for inflammatory bowel disorder through a research network and a research collaborative.
